1.3.0June 17, 2026
The AI organizer moved into the app itself: open RecapMuse and see a readable Diary of your day instead of a list of timestamps.
New
- A Diary view shows your recordings as reverse-chronological conversation cards: an AI-written title, who you were with, a summary, and action items.
- Recordings are transcribed, titled, and grouped into conversations automatically.
- Recent recordings show an AI title and who you were with, instead of a bare filename.
- Add your OpenAI key once in Settings (stored in the macOS Keychain, never in a plain file) to turn on AI organizing. Without a key, RecapMuse still records and live-transcribes.
- New recordings organize themselves automatically within about ninety seconds, or tap "Organize now" to run it immediately.

First release: the menu-bar recorder becomes a complete, self-serve Mac tool.
New
- A branded About view, a Help center with a quick-start guide and FAQ, and a clean installer.
- Start and stop recording with a keyboard shortcut (⌘R).
- A one-time nudge to grant microphone permission the first time you record.
